(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The city of Palmbang, capital of Southern Sumatra province will host the sports event, APS reported.
The games had been scheduled to be organized from June 6-17 this year but were postponed due to some problems including financial problems.
The games will be held in different sports disciplines such as badminton, soccer, Taekwondo, weightlifting, basketball, volleyball and wushu.
Some 5000 Muslim athletes from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation are expected to compete in the games.
Iranian sports officials had said previously that 90 Iranian athletes will take part in the 3rd Islamic Solidarity Games.
